Big Boss Fishing LLC is located in Corpus Christi, Texas. Big Boss Fishing is owned and operated by local Master Captain James (Fred) Wallace. Master Captain James (Fred) Wallace is a lifelong native of Corpus Christi, who has been fishing the Corpus Christi bays and surrounding areas, since he was a kid. He has been fishing and perfecting his skills as a fishing guide for that last three years. Master Captain Wallace is a fully licensed Captain through the United States Coast Guard, who also possess a Texas Parks and Wildlife Guides license, Tow endorsement, is insured, CPR Certified and participates in the USCG drug testing program. We offer both bay and offshore fishing trips. Our bay trips target on speckled trout, red drum, black drum, and sheepshead. Our offshore fishing trips focus on red snapper, kingfish, lings, and shark. Whether you are a seasoned angler or just a beginner, Big Boss Fishing, will help you make memories that will last a lifetime.

Master Captain James (Fred) Wallace runs a 2021 Haynie 25ft Magnum, which offers one of the smoothest, driest rides on the market.

We welcome children of all ages, families, groups and even corporate parties. Groups over six or more passengers can be accommodated or arranged with the Caption as long as the Caption has one week or more notice prior to the trip.

•Tackle, fishing poles and etc.
•Fish cleaning (filleting and bagging)
•Cooler with ice for fish
•Cooler with ice for drinks and snacks
What to bring on a fishing trip:
•Texas fishing license with salt water endorsement. (17 yrs. and over) https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/fishing-licenses-stamps-tags-packages
•Children under 12 years of age are required to wear a lift jacket, if you currently have one bring it, otherwise a USCG approved one will be provided.
•You are welcomed to bring your own food and drinks.
•You are encouraged to bring sunblock, hats, and sunglasses for protection.
•Don’t forget your camera, to show off your catch when you get back.
•Ice chest or storage, for cleaned fish to transport home.
Alcoholic beverages, such as beer and tobacco products are welcomed on board, but please enjoy responsibly. Drinking plenty of water before and during the trip, helps avoid dehydration and muscle cramps.
